good news!

There are plenty of free things to do in Playa Blanca!

Why not go to the beach?

Lanzarote is famed for its large quantity of golden sand beaches -  why not explore them?

Find more information about the main beaches in Playa Blanca in our 'beaches' section.

Relax by your private pool

Have a nice afternoon relaxing the pool before going out to eat. (Check our 'Eating Out' section for the best places to eat.)

Climb Montana Roja

Start the walk from either Calle Noruega or Calle España - remember to wear sturdy shoes!

We advise against walking this in the midday heat and the dark.

We do recommend watching sunset from the top if you have the opportunity!

(Walk not suitable for young children due to the terrain)

Visit el Faro de Pechiguera

This lighthouse, one of the tallest in the Canary Islands, is 3km from Montaña Roja and 5km from Playa Blanca. It is easily accessible via the paved path next to the shore.

There are stunning views of Playa Blanca, Corralejo in Fuerteventura and Montaña Roja.

Visit the Playa Blanca Market

Find the Playa Blanca in Marina Rubicón every Wednesday and Saturday. It's the perfect opportunity to find a bargain or that perfect holiday souvenir!
